Toby Prescott

Toby Prescott is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in engineering and product development. Currently serving as the Director of Development at Bold Technologies since November 2017, Toby oversees a team focused on creating innovative solutions for the security automation market. Prior to this role, Toby worked as a Principal Hardware Engineer at White Rabbit Electronics, where the design of a smart hub for Home Security and Home Automation was a key responsibility. Toby's career also includes a significant tenure at Atmel as a Staff Application Engineer and Global Tools Manager, specializing in Car Access, RF, and RFID technologies while providing support for customer designs. Toby's early experience includes an internship at Allied Signal and a position as Helpdesk staff at the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs. Academically, Toby holds a Master of Engineering in Engineering Management and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.
