Caryn Jacob

Caryn Jacob has extensive experience in global HR operations and management. Caryn has worked as a Sr. Director at BOLD, overseeing the planning and implementation of HR systems and leading a global shared services team. Prior to that, they served as a Sr. Director and Director of Global HR Operations at Crunchyroll, where they developed and launched a global HR function and provided oversight for HRIS, payroll, benefits, and leaves. Caryn has also held leadership roles at New Form Entertainment, DreamWorks Animation, and Digital Domain, where they managed operations, facilities, and employee life cycle experiences. Caryn began their career in the entertainment industry working at companies such as The Walt Disney Studios, Sony Pictures Animation/Sony Pictures Imageworks, and Rhythm & Hues.

Caryn Jacob attended Augsburg University from 1988 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communications. In 1993, they also briefly studied Directing for Theater, Video, and Cinema at the California Institute of the Arts. Additionally, Caryn Jacob pursued studies in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General at UCLA Extension, although the specific duration is unknown.
