Sam Thirlwall

Sam Thirlwall is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and security research. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at Boldend since July 2023, Sam previously held prominent roles at Research Innovations Incorporated as Principal Security Researcher and at Cylance Inc. as Distinguished Architect. Additional experience includes positions as Systems Design Engineer at Hexis Cyber Solutions, Inc., Director of CNO Software Development at Endgame, Senior Software Engineer in CNO Tool Development at Praemittias Group Inc., and Senior Software Engineer of CNO Tool Development at Raytheon. Sam began a career in research at the Center for Information Assurance at the Florida Institute of Technology. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Computer Science with a focus on Computer Security and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, both from the Florida Institute of Technology.
