Samuel Million-Weaver has a diverse work experience in the field of medical and science writing. Samuel started their career as an Undergraduate Researcher at UC Santa Cruz from May 2008 to December 2010. Samuel then worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Washington from September 2011 to June 2015 while pursuing their Ph. D. In 2015, they joined the University of Wisconsin-Madison College of Engineering as a Science Writer and Instructor. Samuel also worked as a Teacher at Kaplan Test Prep from August 2015 to July 2016. In 2017, Samuel worked as a Writer at AAAS until February 2018. Samuel then returned to the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a Science Writer from March 2018 to September 2019. Samuel's next role was as a Senior Medical Writer at the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC) from September 2019 to April 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Medical Writer at BOLDSCIENCE, starting from May 2023.

Samuel Million-Weaver completed their education from 2006 to 2017. Samuel began their undergraduate studies in 2006 at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Samuel graduated from UC Santa Cruz in 2010.

After their undergraduate studies, Samuel pursued further education at the University of Washington from 2011 to 2015. During this period, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Microbiology.

In 2015, Samuel continued their education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they earned a Master's degree in Life Sciences Communication. Samuel completed this program in 2017.

Beyond their formal education, in June 2016, Samuel acquired a certification in Viral Marketing: Crafting Shareable Content from Lynda.com.
