Melanie Fox has extensive experience in the field of language learning and education. Melanie founded Speech Fox in 1999, where they worked as a speech coach, providing individual and group coaching for professionals in business English communication skills and accent reduction. Melanie also coached entertainers on various English dialects, assessed speech patterns, designed custom learning plans, and tracked progress.
In 2021, Melanie joined BoldVoice as an Advisor and Affiliate. Melanie also joined Mango Languages as a Language Learning Strategist, where they positioned the company as a thought leader in K12, adult education, and corporate learning markets. Melanie oversaw high-level strategies for national K12 sales, account management, and marketing teams, and produced trainings on English Language Learning and World Languages.

From 2014 to 2015, they worked as the Director of the Americas at Eton Institute USA, overseeing all aspects of the business, including sales, services, and operations. Melanie also held the role of Director of eBerlitz North America at Berlitz US from 2013 to 2014, leading a new eLearning business unit to success.
Earlier in their career, they worked at Knowledge Delivery Systems as the VP of Account Services & Client Relations from 2005 to 2013, where they established and maintained relationships with large urban school districts. Melanie also worked as the National Sales & Marketing Manager at Eduware, Inc. from 2002 to 2005, expanding the company's product line and increasing revenue.
Melanie started their career as an Adult ESL Teacher and Site Leader at Patchogue-Medford School District from 2002 to 2005, where they taught ESL classes and organized program activities.

Melanie Fox began their education at Commack High School, where they obtained a Regents Diploma in 1997. Melanie then pursued their undergraduate studies at Georgetown University from 1997 to 2001, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Linguistics and Spanish. Melanie continued their education at Georgetown University and obtained a Master of Science degree in Linguistics in 2002. Additionally, they briefly attended Universidad de Salamanca in 2000-2001 to further their studies in Linguistics (Filología).
