Mobilitie Group Founder and Chairman Gary Jabara started his firm in 2006. Today, Mobilitie owns, operates and has deployed billions of dollars' worth of wireless infrastructure-making it the largest privately held owner of wireless infrastructure and one of the largest wireless service firms in the U.S.
Under Gary's leadership, Mobilitie has built a diverse portfolio of assets composed of cell towers, Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), small cells and Wi-Fi networks. It owns and operates the world's largest Wi-Fi network in Las Vegas. It also owns DAS networks at more U.S. venues than any other infrastructure firm, serving sports powerhouses (MLB, NBA, MLS and NFL), airports, public transit and brand partners MGM Resorts and Churchill Downs. The highest mobile data traffic ever recorded during an event was carried on a Mobilitie DAS network.
At the heart of Mobilitie's success is its Advanced Technology Group (ATG), one of the country's most advanced wireless think tanks and recipient of nearly 30 U.S. and international core wireless technology patents. In addition, Mobilitie leverages its status as the only 50-state wireless public utility in the U.S.
Fueled by Gary's customer-centric philosophy, Mobilitie has won numerous local and national awards, including one of the Largest Telecom Companies in OC, one of the Fastest-Growing Large Private Companies, and CIO Magazine's 20 Most Prominent Technology Companies. As Mobilitie's leader, Gary has received the Business Journal Excellence in Entrepreneurship Award and was selected Ernst & Young National Entrepreneur of the Year.
Gary's dedication to Mobilitie clients pours over into a passion for community. An active philanthropist, he provides funding and has donated time to City of Hope, the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Youth Employment Service (YES), Newport Elementary School Foundation, the Alzheimer's Association of America and the Museum of Tolerance. He also supports several institutions of higher learning, including USC, NYU and California Community Colleges.
