Philip Button

Philip Button is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in radio communication systems. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer at Boldyn Networks since July 2021, Philip specializes in the design of radio solutions for the Connect Radio System, providing TETRA communications to London Underground, while also engaging in testing and commissioning based on extensive onsite experience. Prior to this role, Philip's 20-year tenure at Thales included positions as Functional Team Leader Radio, Principal Radio Engineer, and Senior Radio Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed various radio system projects, including GSM-R. Earlier in his career, Philip worked as a Radio Technician, maintaining safety-critical radio systems at Eurotunnel and participating in a secondment focused on delivering multiple radio systems for HS1. Philip holds an HND in Electronic Engineering from the University of Greenwich.
