Bolsas Castresana began its activity in 1990 as a marketer of plastic products and later in 1999 began to manufacture plastic bags and sacks in low and high density, both recycled and virgin material.

Since the beginning of 2024 Bolsas Castresana is part of the group Chimiget. Chimiget is a French, family run, speciality chemicals group that develops its design and manufacturing skills in fields such as detergents, disinfectants, paints, pesticides and aerosols
