James McConnell

James McConnell is a seasoned professional in user experience research with a strong background in making government-hosted APIs more accessible. Currently serving as a Senior User Experience Researcher at Bolt since March 2022, James previously held roles at Ad Hoc LLC, where responsibilities included managing senior user research for BCDA/DPC API Programs and evaluating government data submission systems. Earlier experience includes positions at UserWorks, Inc., Friends Research Institute, Inc., and the University of Maryland, where James developed expertise in user experience and research methodologies. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Interaction Design and Information Architecture from the University of Baltimore and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Maryland.
