Olta Andoni, Esq. serves as General Counsel for Enclave Markets, leading the establishment of legal infrastructure for the first fully encrypted exchange incubated by Avalanche. In addition, Olta functions as Deputy General Counsel at Ava Labs, where strategic legal and regulatory advice is provided to the executive team and oversight for Enclave Markets is given from inception to launch. As a co-founder of the Avalanche Policy Alliance, Olta contributes to educating regulators on blockchain and Web3 issues. Furthermore, Olta holds leadership roles as President and Ambassador of the Midwest and Chicago Chapter of the Association for Women in Cryptocurrency, a board member of the Illinois Blockchain Association, and a member of TechGC. In academia, Olta has been a professor at Chicago-Kent College of Law since 2013, teaching courses in Antitrust Law and International Business Transactions, while previously serving as an adjunct professor until 2023. Prior legal experience includes positions as Chief Legal Officer at Niftys and Fintech and IP Attorney at Zlatkin Wong LLP, alongside an LL.M. cum laude in Intellectual Property from Chicago-Kent College of Law.
