Andrei Ilie

Andrei Ilie is an accomplished Senior Engineering Manager at Bolt, leading the Identity engineering group and overseeing a team of approximately 25 engineers focused on user identification, safety, and data control. With a background in data science, Andrei has previously managed the Platform Data Science function at Bolt, developing machine learning solutions across various verticals, including enhancing customer support and identity verification. Earlier career experiences include roles as a Quantitative Researcher at WorldQuant, a Software Engineer at Softelligence, and internships with Facebook and Metaswitch Networks. Andrei holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Oxford and a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Bucharest.
