Jaanus Uudmäe

Jaanus Uudmäe has extensive experience in fraud management and product development, currently serving as the Head of Fraud at Bolt since November 2017, where strategic initiatives have led to a 2x reduction in fraud losses. Previous roles at Bolt include Fraud Manager, where Jaanus restructured the team for improved effectiveness across various business lines, and Senior Fraud Analyst, where the design of an in-house fraud platform enhanced response capabilities. Before Bolt, Jaanus worked at Skype for a decade in roles such as Product Owner for the CommercePlatform DevOps and as a Fraud IT Specialist and Software Developer, focusing on fraud screening tools and risk identification. Jaanus began a career in fraud-related functions during an internship at Acxiom. Jaanus holds a Master of Science in Computer Science, with a minor in Math, from the University of Arkansas.
