Toomas Römer

Toomas Römer is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as the VP of Engineering at Bolt since November 2019, Toomas is focused on building and managing teams to advance urban transportation solutions. Prior to this role, Toomas was a Board Member at Taking Some Time Off and Family Inc., after co-founding the company nearly a decade earlier. Toomas also held the position of CTO at ZeroTurnaround from December 2017 to July 2019, following a successful tenure as Founder and CTO since July 2007. In earlier roles, Toomas worked at Webmedia AS as a developer and engaged in the Google Summer of Code program in 2007. Toomas holds an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Tartu and has experience as a teacher's assistant in Software Engineering at the same institution.
