Vishal Arora is an experienced engineering manager with a strong background in software engineering and technical leadership. Currently serving at Bolt since July 2020, Vishal leads efforts in scaling billing for Bolt Food and building a billing platform and team. Previous roles include senior software engineer at Careem, where significant contributions were made to developing various consumer products and features for Careem PAY, as well as technical lead positions at Paytm and Freecharge, focusing on marketplace scaling and user experience enhancement. Early career experience includes work at the Royal Bank of Scotland and Oracle Financial Services, where Vishal was involved in banking analytics and improvement of Oracle platforms. Vishal holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics and Computing from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
