About Bolting Ahead
Bolting Ahead Incorporated is a registered charity dedicated to building a truly inclusive society by creating sustainable, meaningful, and customised employment opportunities for young people living with a disability. We deliver person‑centred programs and youth‑led social enterprises that build confidence, core skills, and long‑term employment pathways.

About the OutRun Series
The OutRun Series is our flagship academy — a staged learning and microenterprise development program for young people aged 16+. Across five progressive stages, participants build foundational skills, explore workplaces, develop microenterprises, and launch real‑world projects.

About Backyard Bolters
Backyard Bolters is a bespoke small business providing lawn care and general yard maintenance, such as mowing, whipper snipping, hedge trimming, pressure cleaning, and weeding. Based on Brisbane’s northside, the business was
founded by four young men, supported by their mentors, to create meaningful employment opportunities and hands-on business experience while delivering a valuable service to the community. The Backyard Bolters operate as a cohesive team, completing each job efficiently and to a high standard. They draw on
one another’s strengths, continually build new skills, and take pride in refining their craft.
