Alun Thomas is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in strategic finance and tax management across leading organizations. Currently serving as the Head of Commercial Finance at bolttech since September 2023, Alun supports the CFO in optimizing cash, EBITDA, and balance sheet value within the Insurtech sector. Prior to this role, Alun spent a decade at AIG, where positions included Head of Strategic Finance for International GI and EMEA, and Interim CFO for AIG UK, focusing on capital management and rating agency strategy. Alun has also held positions at Textron as European Tax Director, GE Capital as Group Tax Manager, and Arthur Andersen as a Senior in Corporate Tax. Alun holds a BSc in Accounting and Finance from Lancaster University.
