John Oja

John Oja is an experienced aviation professional with a distinguished career spanning from 1973 to the present. Currently serving as the Senior Pilot Training and Standards at Bombardier Aerospace since 1997, John Oja is responsible for organizing and overseeing pilot training in compliance with company and Transport Canada regulations, administering proficiency checks, and issuing type ratings. In previous roles, John held positions as a Check Pilot, Production Test Pilot, Instructor Pilot, and Courseware Developer, contributing significantly to the training and evaluation of pilots on various Challenger and Global Express aircraft models. Prior to joining Bombardier, John served in the Canadian Forces as an operational pilot and instructor, and held leadership roles within military recruiting and evaluation.
