Jane Backhurst

Jane Backhurst is an experienced humanitarian and policy advisor with a diverse background in international relations and advocacy. Currently serving as a Senior Adviser at Christian Aid and Co-Chair of the Humanitarian Working Group at Bond UK, Jane has also held significant roles such as a GP20 Steering Group member at the United Nations and as a Senior Humanitarian Policy Adviser at the British Red Cross. Jane co-founded the European Peacebuilding Liaison Office and has held leadership positions in various organizations, including the International Council of Voluntary Agencies. Jane's academic accomplishments include multiple distinctions in international law and relations from esteemed institutions.
