Ignacio Palomera

Ignacio Palomera is the current CEO at Bondex. Prior to this, they were with Hydrologik, Texit Industries, and Xpert Network. Ignacio also spent three years at HSBC Global Banking and Markets from April 2015 to May 2018, where they worked as an M&A Analyst.

During their time at HSBC, Ignacio was involved in all aspects of transactions, including due diligence, preparation of sell / buy side documents, modeling, and presentations. Ignacio also had a junior role covering client relationship and origination efforts in Spain and Portugal.

Some of the selected transaction experiences Ignacio was a part of include the disposal of a LATAM subsidiary from a global banking group, the acquisition of a 5% stake in Commerzbank by Cerberus, and the potential acquisition of Allfunds Bank by a PE consortium.

In addition to their work in M&A, Ignacio has also provided general strategic corporate finance advice to a listed Cypriot bank and has acted as a corporate broker advisor for TP Icap.

Ignacio Palomera has a degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Georgia, and a certificate in Artificial Intelligence from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Ignacio also participated in a study abroad program in Business at the University of Oxford.
