Liam Bates

Liam Bates is an accomplished engineering leader currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Bondsmith, where they continue to drive innovation in the cash deposit fintech space. Previously, Liam held the position of Director - Global Head of Swaps Technology at Bank of America, where they led development in real-time systems for market making. With a solid foundation in programming from their earlier roles at Cantor Fitzgerald and Fidelity, Liam developed expertise in Java and structured products. They graduated with a First Class BSc Hons in Information Technology from the University of Derby.
