Bruce Fischer

Chief Technology Officer at Bongo

Bruce Fischer has a strong background in technology and software engineering. Bruce began their career at Hewlett Packard in 1979, where they co-founded the Firehunter Internet Service Provider business and led a development team in creating a groundbreaking service management product for ISPs. Bruce later moved to Agilent Technologies in 1999 and held various engineering leadership roles, eventually becoming the worldwide R&D manager for the Telecom Business Unit. At Agilent, they championed innovative wireless quality of service products for telecom companies. In 2009, Fischer joined Integware, Inc as the Chief Operating Officer, where they successfully built a product portfolio for the consulting company. Bruce then moved to CA Technologies in 2011, where they served as the Senior VP of Software Engineering & Business Unit Executive. During their time at CA Technologies, they grew the team and managed a 350-person product development organization responsible for delivering infrastructure management software. Fischer's most recent role was as the Chief Technology Officer at Bongo, which they assumed in 2016.

Bruce Fischer attended Colorado State University from 1978 to 1982, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
