Chen Xie

Chen Xie is a Specialist at Bonhams since December 2022, with prior experience as a Teaching Fellow at The University of Edinburgh from December 2021 to December 2022 and as a Research Fellow at Shenzhen Museum from December 2020 to December 2021. Chen also served as an Intern at Lyon & Turnbull in early 2020 and worked as an Editor for China Collections Magazine from November 2014 to August 2015. Chen holds a PhD in History from the University of Birmingham (2015-2020), a Master’s degree in Art History with a focus on the History of Collecting from the University of Glasgow (2013-2014), and an MPhil in Ancient Chinese History from Minzu University of China (2010-2013). An undergraduate degree in History was obtained from Anhui Normal University (2006-2010).
