Peter Rees has extensive experience in the art auction industry, currently serving as Director of 19th Century Paintings at Bonhams since April 2001. Prior to this role, Peter worked at Sotheby's from April 1994 to April 2001 as a Cataloguer for Paintings. Peter holds a Bachelor's Degree in English and Religious Studies from the University of Leeds, completed between 1991 and 1993, and has educational background from Collyer's College (1988-1990) and Weald School in Billingshurst (1983-1988).
