Bonsai Architects is an architecture, urban planning and design studio led by two young architects, with a trajectory that goes back to 1965, when architect José Antonio Llopis Solbes founded his Professional Studio. From the 10th floor of Avda. de Madrid 5, we have accumulated more than fifty years of uninterrupted activity, working for public administrations and private clients. Over this time, we have developed urban plans, architectural projects, construction management and full economic project management. This long-standing experience allows us to solve problems efficiently, optimise timelines and provide real value for our clients.
At Bonsai, we support companies, developers and professionals who want to differentiate themselves in the sustainable building sector. Our work integrates strategic consultancy, architectural design and project management, with a focus on value, feasibility and technical excellence.
We specialise in eco-design and bio-construction with engineered timber, bioclimatic architecture and nearly Zero Energy Buildings under the Passivhaus standard. We provide sustainability advisory services —including BREEAM, WELL and Life Cycle Assessment— for projects that seek to enhance their environmental performance and social impact.
