Rui Ribeiro

Rui Ribeiro is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the automotive industry, currently serving as Plant Director for Bontaz in Brazil since March 2012, overseeing a plant with a turnover of 39.7 million reais and managing 70 employees. Notable achievements include expanding sales turnover by 20 times, establishing sales leadership in South America for automotive piston cooling jets and solenoid valves, and building a new factory to support subsidiary growth. Previously, Rui held key positions at Simoldes Group as Purchasing Director, where responsibility included overseeing purchasing for multiple plants, and at Plastic Omnium as Purchasing Manager Mercosur, managing procurement across Brazilian and Argentine operations. Rui’s career began as Quality Manager at MGI Coutier, achieving ISO/TS 16949 certification for multiple plants.
