Josh Cass is a Staff Software Engineer at Bonusly. Josh has over five years of experience in software development and has been a project lead on multiple occasions.
Josh started their career as a Software Developer at Foraker Labs in November 2015. There, they wrote production code in Ruby/Rails, SQL, Javascript/Backbone, HTML and CSS. Josh also provided on-site support for the launch of a product that managed inventory, dispatching, payroll, and invoicing for an intermodal-shipping client.
In 2016, Josh became the Project Lead for an educational assessment platform used in Colorado Public Schools. Later that year, they took on the same role for a platform connecting purveyors of local edible goods directly to restaurants and chefs. As Project Lead, Josh was responsible for prioritizing work for the development team, serving as the point-person for client communication, and grooming product and technical strategies to drive product success.
Josh’s experience and skills have made him a valuable asset to Bonusly. In their current role, they continue to write production code and provide support to clients. Josh is also working on new projects to help Bonusly continue to grow and succeed.
Josh Cass's educational career consists of an AAS in Motion Picture Production from Lansing Community College, a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University, and a Field in Software Development from Turing School of Software & Design.
Their manager is James Mcniff, Principal Software Engineer. They work with Max Pekarsky - Software Engineer, Bryan Thompson - Software Engineer, and Spencer Hurley - Software Engineer.
