Rhett Pickering

Rhett Pickering has worked in the spa and wellness industry since 2002. Rhett began their career as a Spa Manager at Chiva Som, followed by a role as Director of Spa Operations at Marriott Hotels & Resorts in 2004. In 2006, they became the Hong Kong Representative for the Spa & Wellness Council. From 2010-2012, they served as Director & Founder of Vast River Limited, a spa consultancy. Rhett also held the role of Director of Bliss at Bliss Spa at W Hotel from 2010-2012. In 2013, they became Website Coordinator for the Asia Pacific Spa & Wellness Coalition, and in 2014, they were appointed Chairman of the same organization. Additionally, they held the role of Director Application Support at Book4Time Inc. from 2014-2016 and Client Services Director from 2016-2018. In this role, they were the market leader of reservation management software to the high-end, luxury health and wellness market. Rhett has worked on pre-opening projects such as "The Spa" at 137 Pillars House in Chiang Mai, Thailand and "Flawless" in Central, Hong Kong.

Rhett Pickering attended the Melbourne School of Natural Medicine in Australia from 1997 to 2001, where they earned a Health Science (Naturopathy) degree. Their field of study included Clinical Nutrition, Massage, Counseling, Herbal Medicine, Mineral Therapy, Iris Analysis, and Clinic Law.
