Data Scientist - Content at BookBeat

James Coop began their work experience in 2010 as a Web Developer at IBM. James then worked as an English Teacher at the British Council from 2011 to 2012. In 2012, they joined Kobalt Music Group as a Software Engineer, where they worked until 2014. From 2013 to 2014, James worked as a Question Writer at Cambridge English Language Assessment. James then joined King in 2015, starting as a Data Analytics Intern before becoming a Data Scientist and subsequently a Business Performance Manager. In 2020, they worked as a Data Scientist at H&M and later as a Data Science Team Lead at Epidemic Sound. Currently, James is working as a Data Scientist - Content at BookBeat since 2022.

James Coop has a Master's Degree in Computer Systems and Science from Stockholm University, which they completed between 2014 and 2016. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2011, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Cardiff University/Prifysgol Caerdydd.
