Lisa Plesko possesses a diverse background in program direction, software engineering, and creative leadership. Starting a career as a Project Intern at the USDA/ARS Children's Nutrition Research Center in 2004, Lisa later completed a Sports Nutrition Internship at Penn State University. From 2007 to 2014, Lisa served as Program Director at Emerging Elites while also holding a position as Creative Director at TRACS, Inc. Following this period, Lisa transitioned to Terrible Labs as a Software Engineer and subsequently took on various roles including Senior Software Engineer at Autodesk and Software Engineer at BookBub. Since September 2018, Lisa has been working as a Tech Lead at BookBub and has contributed as an Expert in Residence and Workshop Instructor at General Assembly. Lisa holds a BS degree from Penn State University and has furthered professional development through training at General Assembly.
