Azmi Ara

Azmi Ara has worked in various roles in the IT industry since 2013. Theirfirst job was as an IT Operations Associate at Accenture, where they were responsible for using specialized software to store and organize data, as well as capacity planning, installation, configuration, database design, migration, performance monitoring, security, troubleshooting, backup, and data recovery. In 2017, they took on a Research Internship at AUDI AG, where they were tasked with developing a File Comparison Tool using VBA Macros and Integrated Workflow and Terminplan Management using Cplace. That same year, they also completed a Master Thesis at Audi Electronics Venture GmbH, where they developed a Driver Fatigue Detection system using Recurrent Neural Network and Transfer Learning. From 2018 to 2021, Azmi worked as a Deep Learning Engineer at nyris GmbH, where they improved and optimized image recognition tools and developed software solutions for computer-aided image recognition. Azmi is currently employed as an Information Technology Operations Specialist at bookingkit.

Azmi Ara has a diverse educational background. From 2004 to 2008, they attended Good Shepherd Convent. Azmi then went on to earn a Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) from Bishop Cotton Women's Christian College between 2010 and 2013. After that, they obtained certifications in PHP in April 2013, Networking with Netsim in 2011, and Embedded Systems in 2010. In 2015, they began pursuing a Master's Degree in Automotive Engineering Technology/Technician at Technische Universität Chemnitz, which they completed in 2018. In 2021, they also obtained an Intro to Automotive Functional Safety (ISO26262) certification from Udemy, as well as a Services Foundation Certificate from Accenture.
