Jim Neuner has extensive work experience in the arts and nonprofit sectors. Jim started their career in 2002 as a Box Office Staff at Magic Theatre and as a Bookkeeper at San Francisco Shakespeare Festival. Jim then worked at The A.C.T. Conservatory, where they held various roles including Finance Associate, Marketing Intern, Controller, and Finance Consultant. During their time at The A.C.T. Conservatory, they managed financial management and reporting, oversaw the growth of the endowment investment fund, and implemented new systems for investment fund reporting.
In 2010, Jim Neuner became the Director of Business Services at Girl Scouts of Hawai`i, where they worked closely with the CFO to manage business information systems and prepare financial reports. Jim oversaw the implementation of hosted application and data servers and selected a new Managed Service Provider for computer system and printer support.
From 2012 to 2018, Jim Neuner served as the Director of Finance and Administration at Artists Repertory Theatre. In this role, they managed all aspects of financial management and reporting for a $3M non-profit theatre. Jim also implemented new cloud-based solutions for CRM, accounting, POS, access control, HR, and email.
Starting in 2017, Jim Neuner served as a Board Member at Portland Area Theatre Alliance for one year, and in 2019, they joined ArtWorks for Milwaukee, Inc. as a Board Member.
In 2019, Jim Neuner held multiple positions. Jim became the Community Manager at BookLive and the Managing Director at Mad Rogues Theatre Company.

Jim Neuner obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Marquette University from 1988 to 1993. Prior to that, they attended Marquette University High School from 1984 to 1988. Later, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of San Francisco School of Management, which they completed from 1999 to 2002.
