Patrick Weaver

Patrick Weaver has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Patrick is currently working at BookNook as a Senior Software Engineer & Tech Lead, a position they have held since September 2022. Prior to this role, they were a Senior Software Engineer at BookNook from January 2021 to September 2022.

In 2020, Patrick worked as a Freelance Creative Technologist at Patrick Weaver Unlimited from July to December. Patrick also participated in the Fall 2 2020 batch at the Recurse Center, focusing on building a real-time map of the NYC subway system and learning new programming languages and tools.

From 2014 to 2020, Patrick worked at Mouse, an organization focused on educational technology. Patrick held various roles, including Software Engineer, Learning Design from July 2018 to July 2020, Learning Design Manager from July 2015 to June 2018, and Learning Network Coordinator from September 2014 to July 2015.

Patrick co-founded Phone Booth Press in 2009 and served as the Creative Director and Bookbinder until June 2016. Patrick also worked as a Bookseller at bookbook from September 2011 to July 2015.

Patrick Weaver earned a Bachelor's Degree in Literature and Language Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Patrick further obtained a certification in "Javascript Code: Programming the interactive web" from Mouse in March 2018.
