Derek Lutz

Derek Lutz is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in school finance and technical support. Currently serving as School Finance Manager at BookReport since October 2019, Derek oversees financial optimization for K-12 schools and districts. Previously, Derek held several positions at UT Service Desk from March 2017 to May 2020, culminating as Shift Leader, where responsibilities included providing technical assistance and participating in policy-making. Derek also completed a brief internship as an Assurance Intern at PwC in early 2020. Academically, Derek earned a Master in Professional Accounting and a Bachelor in Business Administration, both from The University of Texas at Austin.
