Our Mission:

We send free reading materials to indigent, incarcerated New Yorkers, supporting the literacy, self-empowerment, and imagination of some of our most disenfranchised community members. Books are essential tools for maintaining dignity, fostering education, and sustaining hope during incarceration.

We are affiliated with the Center for Appellate Litigation in New York City. Each request represents a person asserting their humanity, and we are committed to always approaching our mission with dedication and unwavering respect for the individuals we serve.
