Andy Hunter

Andy Hunter has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Andy is currently the CEO of Bookshop.org since July 2019. Previously, they were the Co-Creator and Publisher at Literary Hub starting from August 2014. Prior to that, they founded and served as Chairman at Electric Literature, starting from April 2009. Andy has also held the position of Publisher at Counterpoint LLC, Soft Skull Press, and Catapult, from September 2016 to February 2022. In addition, they were the CEO of Broadcastr.com from June 2010 to August 2013, the Editor in Chief at Mean Magazine from April 2000 to November 2007, and the Editor in Chief of Lollapalooza Magazine from January 2003 to April 2004. Andy began their career as a Manager of Business Systems at The Walt Disney Company from January 1998 to April 2000. Andy Hunter has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Additionally, they earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing from Brooklyn College between 2006 and 2008.
