Booksicals develops arts and performing arts curriculum for K-6 school and afterschool programs.  Using theater, music, visual arts, dance and writing activities based on picture books, the Booksicals Literacy Through The Arts program improves reading, provides interactive learning through the arts that promotes teamwork and  caters to all learning styles.  Founder Susan Chodakiewitz, started creating musical theater in 2007 then went on to write children's picture books. In 2009 fusing her two professional worlds Booksicals was born, taking picture books and musicals for kids into the world of arts education.
