At Booksie, we believe every child deserves to be seen and celebrated in the stories they read, the worlds they imagine and the confidence they build.

We are a storytelling and literacy brand celebrating African stories and shaping confident young readers. Through our programmes, bookshop and creative productions, we make reading an experience that feels joyful, meaningful and proudly African.

Our work combines literacy development and cultural representation, helping children aged 3-12 learn to read, love to read and see themselves reflected in the stories they explore. From our Holiday Reading Camps to Saturday Book Club,  theatre productions and specialty bookshop, we create engaging, structured reading experiences for families and schools across Ghana and beyond.

We also collaborate with educators, NGOs and publishers to make African-authored children’s books accessible, visible and celebrated both locally and globally.

What we do:
1. Design literacy programmes and reading experiences for children
2. Curate African storybooks and learning resources
3. Partner with schools and organisations to promote reading culture
4. Produce story-based creative content (theatre)

Because when children see themselves in stories, they grow to love reading and when they love reading, they grow into confident, curious thinkers.
