Karen Cook

Karen Cook is an experienced education professional with a diverse background in teaching and educational resources. As the president of Cook Educational Resources Inc. since October 2006, Karen has also served as a representative for The Booksource and Crabtree Books since August 2016 and August 2005, respectively. Between June 2003 and December 2021, Karen worked as an Educational Representative for Heinemann Publishing, focusing on professional development materials for K-12 teachers in the New England region. Additional experience includes a role as a representative for Stenhouse Publishers from 2015 to 2018 and over 25 years as a teacher in various Maine school districts. Karen holds a BS in Child Development and Psychology from the University of Maine, earned between 1974 and 1978.
