Alex Patch

Alex Patch is a seasoned Quality Assurance Engineer currently employed at Booktopia since August 2024, focusing on advancing automation in software quality assessment through advanced heuristics and algorithms. Previously, from December 2008 to June 2024, Alex held various roles at Booktopia, including QA Engineer, User Acceptance Test Coordinator, DC Inventory Coordinator, and DC Support Team Leader, contributing significantly to software quality enhancement, managing major projects, and optimizing warehouse management processes. Alex began a career in the logistics sector as a Storeman at Booktopia and Cue Clothing Co from 2003 to 2008. Alex holds a Diploma and Certificate in Screen Production from North Sydney TAFE and Randwick TAFE, respectively, and completed the HSC at Concord High School.
