Rohan Perera

Rohan Perera has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Rohan is currently serving as the Chief Delivery Officer for BooleanLabs since 2021. Prior to this, Rohan worked as the IT Director for IEI from 2013 to 2021. Rohan also had a brief role as a Business Intelligence Project Manager at Sankar Inc in 2014. In 2013, Rohan worked as a Transition Manager for Application Support Services at IEI-Virtusa/Philips Life Line, where they were responsible for the transition of Philips Lifeline Business Operation applications. From 2011 to 2013, Rohan served as an Account Manager at Virtusa-Network Rail, overseeing offshore delivery to Network Rail. Before that, they were a Technical Consultant at inStream from 2010 to 2011, where they identified potential customers and led software development efforts. In 2009, Rohan worked as a Research Engineer at Cerdec US Army, where they conducted research for new product solutions. Rohan also has experience as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at Stevens Institute of Technology, where they facilitated curriculum and conducted research in various areas including internet forensics. Prior to that, Rohan worked at CSC as a Business Transition Manager, Technical Test Manager, MIS Manager, and Functional Architect from 1996 to 2004. Rohan started their career as a Business Analyst at Covansys in 1996.

Rohan Perera has a diverse education history. Rohan started with their secondary education at Colombo International School from 1986 to 1988, where they pursued London A Levels in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, and Physics.

After completing their A Levels, Perera went on to study at McMaster University from 1988 to 1993. Rohan earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Engineering Physics during their time at McMaster.

Seeking further specialization, Perera then attended Stevens Institute of Technology from 1994 to 1996. Here, they pursued a Masters degree in Engineering Physics with a focus on Optics and Lasers.

Continuing to expand their expertise, Perera returned to Stevens Institute of Technology from 2005 to 2010 to pursue a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering.
