Michael Kelly

Michael Kelly has an extensive background in publishing and community relations, beginning as a Community Relations Coordinator and Stock Room Worker at Barnes & Noble, Inc. from September 1994 to March 1997. Following that, Kelly served as a Subsidiary Rights Coordinator at Charlesbridge Publishing and progressed through various roles at Hasbro from March 2018 to December 2023, ultimately holding the position of Vice President, Global Publishing, where remarkable achievements included leading a team that amplified sales over tenfold and published over 1,000 titles annually. Concurrently, Kelly managed the G.I. JOE franchise's creative direction and provided vital IT/business systems integration support. Now, as the Founder of Extensive Enterprises, LLC, and Publisher at BOOM! Studios, Kelly focuses on intellectual property development, publishing, and brand licensing strategy. Additionally, educational background includes a BA in English from Boston College and an MBA from Northeastern University.
