Ron Garney

Ron Garney has a long and diverse work experience in the field of illustration. Ron began their career in 1962 as an Illustrator at rongarneyart. Since then, they have worked with various comic book companies such as MARVEL, DC Comics, Image Comics, and Dark Horse Comics.

In 2006, Garney joined Warner Bros as a Costume Illustrator, and in 2009, they became the owner and instructor at Team Strength Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy. Ron held this position until 2015.

Most recently, Garney has worked as an Illustrator at BOOM! Studios since 2020. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated a strong passion and skill for illustration, leaving a lasting impact on the comic book industry.

Ron Garney attended Housatonic Valley Regional from 1976 to 1980, where they studied various subjects. Ron then went on to Southern Connecticut State University, where they pursued a major in art from 1980 to 1985. No degree information is available for either institution.
