Rob Westerling has a long and diverse work experience in the sales and services industry. Rob started their career at International Card Services (ICS) as a Senior Account Manager from 1998 to 2000. Rob then joined Libertel as an Enterprise Account Manager from 2000 to 2003. After that, they worked at Vodafone, holding various roles including Strategic Account Manager from 2003 to 2005, Sales Manager Small Medium Business from 2005 to 2006, and Sales Manager Corporate Accounts from 2006 to 2009.
In 2009, Rob Westerling became Country Sales Manager at Vodafone, leading and developing multiple account manager teams in the enterprise/global accounts segment in Northern Europe. Rob held this position until 2016. From 2017 to 2018, they served as the Head of Sales for Vodafone Business in the Netherlands, overseeing global accounts and managing sales teams.
Most recently, Rob Westerling worked at Boomi (part of Dell Technologies until October 2021) as the Head of Professional Services Sales EMEA since 2019. Boomi offers a Low Code Integration Platform as a Service that enables companies to connect applications and data sources on premise and in the cloud. Rob played a key role in driving sales and reducing integration efforts for customers, and they also worked as the Services Sales Lead for Western Europe and the Middle East.
Throughout their career, Rob Westerling has demonstrated their expertise in sales management, team leadership, and business development, making significant contributions to the success of the companies they have worked for.
Rob Westerling earned a Master's degree in Business economics from Radboud University, which they attended from 1994 to 1997. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Commercial Management from Saxion University of Applied Sciences, where they studied from 1989 to 1994. Additionally, they completed their Middelbare school (VWO) education.
