Thomas Benjamin has extensive work experience in various technology roles. Thomas currently serves as the SVP of Product Development & Engineering at Boomi. Prior to this role, they worked as an Advisor for multiple startups.

Previously, Thomas held several leadership positions in renowned companies. At NI (National Instruments), they were the EVP, CTO & Head of Platform and Analytics R&D. Thomas played a key role in transforming NI into a software systems company, growing the analytics business by 34% and modernizing multiple products in the company's portfolio.

Thomas also served as a Technology Advisor at BlackLine and as the SVP & CTO SAP Cloud - Ariba at SAP. At SAP, they defined the vision for autonomous procurement, developed a proprietary data platform, and leveraged machine learning and AI to grow the business by $350M.

Earlier in their career, Thomas was the Chief Technology Officer at GE Aviation, where they established the software business for predictive maintenance and fuel savings. Thomas also worked as the Vice President - Technology & Architecture at Emirates Group, leading the digital transformation of the airline.

Prior to that, Thomas was the Chief Enterprise Architect at Visa and the Chief Architect at WalmartLabs, where they played a significant role in developing technology strategies and delivering innovative solutions.

Thomas began their career at Oracle Inc USA, where they served as a Product Engineering Leader for various products and played a key role in Oracle Fusion Platform modernization, among other initiatives.

Thomas Benjamin's education history includes obtaining an Executive Education in Disruptive Strategy from Harvard Business School Online in 2017 and a similar Executive Education in Exponential Technologies from Singularity University in 2015, focusing on areas like Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning. In 2013, Thomas attended Stanford University for High Performance Management and Negotiation Skills. Prior to these programs, Thomas earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Engineering from the University of Cincinnati between 1996 and 2000. Thomas also holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE) from Anna University, where they attended the College of Engineering Guindy from 1990 to 1994. Thomas completed their high school education at Union Christian Matriculation High School in Madras, India, from 1986 to 1990, following their primary education at Chinmaya Vidhyalaya from 1976 to 1986.
