DeVonna Normand

DeVonna Normand has held a variety of roles in the event and communications industries since 2007. DeVonna began their career as an Admissions & Records Specialist I and Registration/Veterans Affairs Representative at the College of Southern Nevada in 2007. DeVonna then moved to the University of Nevada-Las Vegas in 2009, where they worked as an Administrative Assistant II. In 2013, they were promoted to Executive Administrative Assistant at the same institution. From 2015 to 2016, Normand worked as an Event Specialist for Event Planning and as a Radio Personality for WBKE Vegas Radio. In 2017, they became a Radio Personality for 22.3 Takeover Vegas Radio. In 2019, Normand began working as a Technology Consultant for Boomset, an Emcee for Cat's Meow Karaoke, and a Photobooth Technician for EventsTag. In their current role as a Technology Consultant, Normand is an On-Site Team Leader for events with 100 to 10,000 attendees, provides Event Staff with real-time troubleshooting, and applies root cause analysis techniques to provide UX feedback and future design changes.

DeVonna Normand graduated from Nevada State College in 2018 with a degree in Communications and a minor in Radio, specializing in Communication and Media Studies. In 2016, they obtained a Hootsuite Certified Professional certification from Hootsuite Media Inc.
