Mark Mescher

Mark Mescher is currently an advisor at Boomtown Accelerators. Mark has previously worked as the business development lead at Accelerate from April 2021 to April 2022 and as the Senior Vice President of Strategy & Business Development at AngelMD from November 2015 to March 2020.

At Accelerate, Mark was responsible for driving 365 healthcare transformation by connecting, collaborating and credentialing the global health ecosystem. Mark built out insights from peers and thought leaders, professional development tools, networking opportunities and curated content.

At AngelMD, Mark developed strategic partnerships and healthcare relationships on the digital platform and healthcare marketplace with physician members, health systems, specialty societies, channel partners, startups, and medical industry. Mark also lead the development of a network of 10,000+ physician and investor members and 1,500+ healthcare startups participating on the AngelMD platform. A large focus of their was on the development of strategic partnerships with top physician societies including the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP), American College of Cardiology (ACC), North American Spine Society (NASS), American Medical Association (AMA), Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA), among others, providing educational content, managing innovation centers and hosting pitch competitions on exhibit floor during annual meetings. Mark continually worked to develop partnerships with leading companies in the healthcare services and development space to support the development of top startups in healthcare.
