Jim Turnquist has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Jim is currently the Director of Technical Operations at BoonLogic since August 2018. Prior to this, they were a Principal Software Engineer at Dell EMC from November 2014 to June 2018. In this role, they led a team of developers and was responsible for creating and assigning stories, leading meetings, providing technical guidance, and contributing as a developer. Jim also designed and developed a high-performance DMTF/Redfish aggregation server and OnServe REST API.
Before Dell EMC, Jim was a Backend SaaS Developer at AppFirst from April 2014 to October 2014. Jim worked as a Principal Engineer at QLogic from an unknown start date until March 2014, where they were a firmware developer and led the SMI-S project. Earlier in their career, Jim was a Member of Technical Staff at Caspian Networks, a Senior Programmer at Ascend Communications, and a Programmer/Analyst at Cray Research.
Jim Turnquist attended Bethel University from 1986 to 1990. Jim earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science during their time there.
