John Scanlan

John Scanlan is an experienced professional in agronomy and procurement, currently serving as the Group Barley Procurement & Risk Manager at Boortmalt since February 2020, where responsibilities include shaping and executing the raw material procurement strategy for the Global Malt Division. Previously, John held the position of Barley Procurement Manager, leading barley purchasing in Argentina. John's extensive experience also includes roles as an Agronomist at Groupe Soufflet from June 2011 to January 2020 and at El Sombrerito S.A. y El Toiugua S.A., as well as a trainee in Research and Development at Satus Ager SA. John holds a degree in Agronomy, awarded a Gold Medal, and a Master's degree in Agribusiness and Food Industry Management from Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina.
