Sofie Pels possesses extensive experience in human resources and international mobility, currently serving as Chief People & Communication Officer at Boortmalt since December 2017, where responsibilities have included roles as Group HR Manager and Head of HR Belgium and France. Prior to Boortmalt, Sofie held the position of HR Manager International Mobility at Sarens, overseeing international mobility cases, payroll, and HR policy implementation. Sofie gained valuable expertise as an International Mobility Officer at Vinçotte, managing expatriate activities and compliance issues. Earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Consultant at Ernst & Young, advising on labor law and employment situations. Sofie's academic background includes a Master in International Politics and Diplomacy from Universita di Bologna and a Master in International and European Law from the University of Antwerp.
