Customer Education Specialist at Boost AI

Rosie Smithells has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Rosie started their career at Dstl as a Year in Industry Student from September 2004 to August 2005. Rosie then joined Keele University in September 2009, where they served as a PhD Research Student until August 2013. Rosie'sresearch focused on the geological, geodynamic, and rheological evolution of the Rockall Basin. During their time at Keele University, Rosie also worked as a Demonstrator, assisting in practical sessions and field courses related to geology. Rosie additionally worked as a Maths Tutor, supporting students with mathematical content in their degrees.

In 2013, Rosie joined the University of Bergen as a Postdoctoral Fellow and remained in that position until May 2016.

Rosie'smost recent work experience is at boost.ai, where they joined in May 2018. Rosie started as an AI trainer and then transitioned to the role of AI Interactions Architect from March 2020 to July 2021. Currently, they hold the position of a Customer Education Specialist at boost.ai.

Rosie Smithells holds a PhD in Geology from Keele University, which they obtained from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, they earned an MSci in Geology and Geophysics from Imperial College London, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Rosie also has additional certifications in various fields, including Foundations in Customer Education from Skilljar, Intellum Platform 101 from Intellum, Learn Evolve Level 2 from Intellum, Learn Evolve: Level 1 from Intellum, and an AI Trainer certificate from boost.ai. These certifications were obtained in April 2023.
